Meraki went to Bogotá, Colombia in February 2017.
My pivotal Remote Year moment: I injured myself by falling off a horse, and then I got back up on the proverbial horse only to injure myself more via the stirrups because I did not wear the proper socks.
At least I will look back at the scars with fondness...
This month was all about side trips. We went camping in Neusa, visited the Villa De Leyva, hiked the waterfalls at Cascada la Periquera, went to Carnaval in Barranquilla, and hung out in Cartagena for the last week of the month.
